Wish we had more people to go with here - I’d have loved to try their plated dishes! Instead - go see the pictures on Unilocal. They’re accurate. I’d write more stuff in both meals we had, but it’d be repetitive. I would definitely get this if you’re not feeling the Bulgogi Beef. Just seems like this was the best one to choose in the Smothered Burrito category. Bf had the Katsu Smothered Burrito - the sauce is the Korean Curry! I didn’t know this till I had a few bites. The rice was done perfectly & the sauces added made the entire burrito go well together. All ingredients tasted fresh & melted in my mouth. Besides the unripened Kimchi, everything was delicious. Pretty fast! I got the Bulgogi Beef Burrito - Yum. So - here’s my warning: The water is right by the wall that’s blocking the kitchen from the tables adjacent to the register. Staff knew… but chose not to say anything. I kind of hate wasting money on bottled water if I don’t need to. AND… pet peeve: we didn’t see the water cups beside the wall and thought we HAD to buy bottled water. My 2 cons here were: the Kimchi used is not ripened (personal pref). I guess to me since SF shops are small, I just assumed we’d have to stand while eating. I wish I could eat pork :(That one is very popular. I kind of knew what I wanted, but I still wanted to ask what was the best dish. So glad the bf found this place! Staff members were nice. That could be me on the right – reaching out for seconds. This place is solid. I feel like the kids in this picture after that meal: fat, happy, and stuffed. He’s like “That guy over there does, he’s fluent, but I only speak Kitchen Spanish. So I asked the guy if they all spoke Spanish. Soooo….anytime I hear an Asian speak Spanish I feel like they’re family. I’ll bring the Wonton and he and I can share the burrito around the corner in South Park. Yes, that is a thin slice of pork belly lurking on the right.īe back tomorrow for the Fried Oyster Kimchi Rice Burrito…was suppose to order that today but just as the words were about to leave my mouth, dude with a plate of kimchi fried rice walked past me. Kimchi Fried Rice topped with a runny Egg: Marc took me on a little tour of his new offices around the corner. So technically, this is MY sandwich if I consumed 51%? My stomach benefited more from this cheesesteak than Marc’s. It’s like bi-racial kids with an Asian parent are always better looking – best of both worlds I guess. Even the cheeseteak roll tastes better here. So, OMG stands for “oh my fucking gawd this is so good.”Īnd HRD stands for…(“I guess I don’t really care what it stands for the food is so good.”)
